JohnsonDiversey Distribution Center
This unique and special workshop truly is a one-of-a-kind experience. Attendees will hop a tour bus in the morning and spend the little more than an hour trip to the JohnsonDiversey Distribution Center “in-session”. This interactive workshop is geared toward C-level attendees who are charged with understanding how their companies are impacting the environment and how their actions are perceived by their customers. You’re not alone. More than 1,200 corporations have signed on to the Global Reporting Initiative and the logistics professional can make a major “green” impact throughout the parcel process.
This unique program will include a tour of the JohnsonDiversey distribution center (part of the SCJohnson family), a 550,000 square foot DC in Wisconsin, which is the largest LEED-certified distribution center in the United States. This DC has earned LEED Gold, one of the highest ratings for environmental leadership. LEED, or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, is the nationally accepted standard for high performance green buildings that balance environmental responsibility, resource efficiency and the comfort and well-being of the workforce.

Best practices in facility layout, processes and the use of technology separate the leaders from the wannabes in the highly competitive parcel shipping arena. How do you contain costs without sacrificing the efficiency, productivity and quality needed to differentiate your company from the competition? This one day course is designed to provide a basic working knowledge of the laws and regulations affecting the supply chain with a special emphasis on parcel shipping. This is the vital information you need for minimizing risks and protecting revenues for your organization and for your own individual professional growth.
